my new Missha Oriental Herbs BB cream ♪

ATTENTION: New post about this BB cream from spring 2011 is HERE!! :D
You can read both :DDD

Guys, I love bb creams!!! Bb creams were the biggest hit for me in 2009, especially because there were tons of them around to test and buy! 笑 Unfortunately my skin has turned super dry now, but still bb creams really help, they help keep the moisture from cream in my skin and smooth it out and are one of the few foundation/foundation bases that don`t get stuck in open pores, but cover them! For oily skin, they might now take care of the shine, but with some powder, it should be fine. (the best one for oily skin was missha perfect cover for me!)

Unfortunately bb creams usually come in one or two shades, and the lighter one is really light, and the darker one is too ochre for me, it`s more suited to asian tanned skin I guess... `OTL But actually the lighter color is still okay for me and even bb creams from the same maker have completely different shades, so you can stil try till you get a good match! And the most important, they are made to blend with your natural skin color! So if you have light skin, give bb cream a try! I am sorry to all the dark skinned girls, hopefully korean brands will make a dark bb cream too, but since it`s marketed for korean women... don`t know about that. :/
Anyway, I plan to use bb cream in summer too! It looked quite good on my tanned skin as well :) Or you can use it as a base and then put darker foundation on it and tadaa~ ☆

Actually I have a couple bb creams at home:
MISSHA M Pertect Cover Blemish Balm BB Cream #21 (red tube)
MISSHA M Original BB Blemish Balm Multi Function Cream (silver tube)
MISSHA M VITA Sun Care & BB Multi Function Cream (golden tube - this broke me out!! but my sister is okay :/)
Missha M B.B BB Boomer Primer Cream
MISSHA M Shiny B.B BB (SPF27 PA++) Cream (darkest of them all)
Missha Oriental Herb Medicine Gold Care BB Cream #1 (my newest one and a bit of a splurge actually :3)

My newest baby is Oriental Herbs bb cream and I loooove it!
It`s also know as Choboyan series or 美思 line. This line also had very herbal smelling skin care products, a full line up, and from the testers, I really like it! Recently I got a tester of the Choboyan cream in the dark blue container and it was just amazing!!! It was like thick honey in consistency :ooo But back on topic ;)

It is advertised as packed full of oriental herbs and has lots of patented solutions and ingredients. That definitely appeals to me. It`s supposed to work as anti-wrinkle and whitening care and has 30 PA++ sunblock! Also has anti-aging, anti-trouble (patented) and anti-oxydation (patented) ingredients. The ingredients Missha advertises most are wild korean ginseng, gold powder, antlers extract and them tons of oriental herbs. :3 Honestly, this makes me feel a bit luxurious. ;D This bb cream feels more like foundation than bb cream! I don`t think I would use it as a foundation base, like I did with other bb creams. It has very good buildable coverage and matte finish. Personally I like bb creams for this healthy shine they give, and this one could have more of that, but oh well, can`t have everything I guess! (Or can I..?? :3 Always looking for the perfect thing! lol) I still think it makes my skin look smooth and healthy and hmm... I think elegant too!
Other things, I love the packaging, it`s sooo pretty, with the pattern and golden-brown gradation! :D There is 50ml, but if feels like there`s less... or maybe I`m just being cheap, cause it was the most expensive bb cream I ever bought. xD Including shipping it should cost you a little bit less than 30usd, don`t overpay!! Other bb creams I have are from 10usd up! Look at eBay. :)

This year it`s Missha`s 10th anniversary and they released new products, Signature line, with a new bb cream: Missha M Signature real complete BB cream. It looks similar to Perfect cover bb cream, but has lots more healthy stuff inside and is paraben free, non-chemical free, mineral oil free, GMO free, triclosan free, benzophenone free and alcohol free. Dunno, sounds impressive, but for now I`m good with my oriental herbs ♡ Happy anniversary to Missha! They started out as a small internet base brand and grew taking advice from customers and asking question online, what a great story. :)

If someone is interested I can do side by side comparison of my bb creams! Sorry I only have Missha, it`s the brand that appealed to me most. :D If I was buying another bb cream I would try Banilla bb cream! :D

Majolica Majorca spring collection!

Majolica Majorca is advertising their new spring collection, which isn`t much new things actually, but the packaging is sooo pretty and the webpage is too beautiful ♡ Must go and see!

There is a whole story, be sure to click all new items and leave music ON. I actually like the majolica mascara with brush comb (I have Shiseido Majolica Lash Expander Frame Plus), it really works well, but it`s so mad hard to remove... The powder foundation case is pretty too ♡ Hmm, maybe I will get something from this collection... The "new" collection is: foundation primer, powder foundation, mascara primer and mascara and two new colors in eyeshadow palettes. *^^*
You can get everything from ichibankao already :D

Also check out new Paul&Joe Alice in Wonderland collection at The Beauty Look Book blog! So pretty!!!

my favorite "creative makeup" youtuber

Ah! The magical land of youtube videos, helping you understand anything you are not sure about or just providing silly entertainment for years now! ;D There are also soooo many interesting makeup chanels too, like the lovely pros of Pixiwoo or super collectors like Fuzzkitie, but my favorite makeup video uploader of all times is MANWOMANFILM!
Her videos are like a trip to happy-land for me :D Her makeup is also amazing, sooo creative and colorful! Her videos are beautifully edited and she it so funny and pretty too. :3 Definitely not every day looks for me, but amazing none the less. Also, music in her videos tends to be awesome... and she just uploaded a new video, so look and subscribe and gimme a high five for recomending it to You. xD

Hamsters, they be cute ;D (my favorite video by Her is probably the "flight attendant" (love m-flo!) and "conservative") Enjoy!

BTW, I just made homemade tofu, yum yum. If you are wondering how, here are good instructions.

review: MAC MSF Porcelain Pink

Hello guys! :D
For a long time, I was a MAC virgin ( ̄_ ̄ i) lol
Last year, of course under the influence of japanese magazines like 小悪魔Ageha, Happie Nuts and JELLY, I decided to buy MAC lipsticks, Myth and Siss! They are the two most popular nude colors in Japan, followed by Peach Stock and Flesh Pot, which I want too and plan to get them some time. ^^*

MAC mineralize skinfinish in PORCELAIN PINK, whoopdeedoo~ ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ

So until not so long ago, not knowing much about MAC products, I didn`t even know what MSF is... food? Plant? Bird..? Hmm, no idea, like really in the dark. xD But when I started running out of Missha Under Eye Brightener, I decided to try MAC concealer and went to my closest MAC store. I got the Select Moisturecover (which I don`t really like too much so far :/) and waiting for the assistant to bring my concealer was looking at powders/blushes and some of them were shiny, glittery, had a glow and those were MSFs. So when my assistant came back and saw me looking at them, she said they can be used as blush, highlight or all over powder and from that moment on I knew what Mineralize Shinfinish was! ハハ~ン☆ I remembered hearing the name "Porcelain Pink" somewhere and I asked if they had it, and it turns out it was from a limited collection, but they had one or two left and I bought in on impulse... ヘ(゚∀゚*)ノ

So, MAC website says it`s "a luxurious velvet-soft powder with high-frost metallic finish. Smoothes on: adds buffed-up highlights to cheeks and brows, or an overall ultra-deluxe polish to the face". There is 10 g / 0.35 oz of the product and it costs US $28.00, or more in countries other than USA. About the amount, that`s really too much! I don`t think I`ll ever use it all... (゜д゜;) But that`s good too, at least I can experiment without regrets it will run out! You only need a tiny bit of the product and you will have the right result, which is - it practically won`t show at all! xD But that`s good! This MSF has a very light pink color with golden veining, but in my opinion it has a blue-ish shine to it too... hmm, maybe that`s just me? It won`t really show up on any color skin like a blush would, maybe on someone pale like chalk, or if you put tons of it on your face, but personally I don`T like how it looks applied so heavy ... It won`t be an obvious color, but it will add this glow and your skin will reflect light and look really luminous and healthy! And the trend for 2010 is natural looking face with lots of glow! If you don`t have any, must get for 2010 is a highlighter! You can see on the left, I have it on my hand and for the photo I applied quite a lot! It hardly shows, right? I imagine it will look most gorgeous in summer on delicately tanned skin ♡♡ You can also use a tiny bit over any other blush, powder or cream, for a pretty more dimensional color and glow... Hmm, I gues it takes time to get used to the effect and seing whether you like it or not. I like it more and more everyday, but it might be different with You. Also, the colors and amount of glitter and shine can be different in each single packaging! Look at it before you buy it!

So this is definitely a product that is growing on me! I bought it on impulse and the longer I have it, the more I like it! Of course after buying it without thinking twice, I had to educate myself with youtube video reviews (love them!) and makeupalley ones. ;)

very light coverage, gliterry shiny finish - this is a lot of MSF, you will put much less on your face!
personally I would only apply this to C line :)

because it flies around sooo much, I think it sometimes works better applied with foundation brush!

The only things I don`t like about this is, the powder could be more well ground for my taste - powder particles (??) are big-ish and there is some glitter, and though it hardly shows, but it could be smaller too, IMO. Also, the powder pieces fall off and fly around in the box, it`s pink with the flying powder all the time, maybe they could have ground it better and press it harder..? But oh well... I can live with that! Just minor negatives.

I will give MAC MSF in Porcelain Pink 6/10 stars! ★★★★★★☆☆☆☆

Sorry for my loooong entries where I babble a lot,I hope some people at least manage to read through it all?! xD

japanese magazines: JELLY & Happie Nuts 2010.03 issues

Here`s a little preview of current issues of Happie Nuts and JELLY. If you want to see more, visit my tumblr, it`s about japanese gyaru fashion: http://ggggal.tumblr.com/ Here are some pages not posted at tumblr!

JELLY march issue:

The biggest makeup trend is still natural makeup! If you can, no foundation, or at least a very natural looking skin, natural looking fake lashes, natural colors. :) For spring, a lot of gyaru magazines also push pink lips, and I love it. Yamamoto Yuuki is one of my favorite models too. :D

How to get cute hairstyles and curls with a straightening iron! I want to cut my hair like Mori Maya sooo bad! :3

And now Happie Nuts march issue:

Of course this is my blog about cosmetics and makeup, so I had to upload this page! :D It`s a ranking of repeat-buy products and 神コスメ (god-cosmetics, it is a word to express something best ever ;)). I use Gokujun series (top right) and Isoflabon series from Sana also looks interesting! ☆ Bihada Ichizoku 美肌一族 sheet masks are really nice, but I won`t invest in them - I have my eye on many other and more affordable sheet masks :D

Spring fashion trends, girly vintage and 80s mode. Cute☆

I just really liked this page. :) The model on the right is Hiromi, she is from The Philippines and very popular among Happie Nuts models! :) So, that`s it for now and if you want to see mor japanese magazines go look at http://ggggal.tumblr.com/ ^^* If you want to see latest EGG preview, go to Keikk`s blog: http://hautekeikk.com/2010/02/06/friday-with-★-egg-★-32010/
