Kiss Me HEAVY ROTATION and B & C BROWLASH EX pencil eyeliners

I bought 2 new eyeliners! Kiss Me HEAVY ROTATION perfect eye liner and B & C BROWLASH EX Water Strong Creamy eye pencil, both from japanese brands and purchased from AdamBeauty. v(^__^ )v

I actually was using the Heavy Rotation eyeliner since summer, I bought it in Korea, so it`s a repurchase! (^0^ ) It`s a nice soft black pencil eyeliner and it doesn`t crease, etc, stays in place all day. ^^ The B&C is thinner and more hard and deeper black! It`s staying power is ....scary. XD A real heavy duty eyeliner.

B&C very thin / Heavy Rotation thicker

top: B&C / bottom: Heavy Rotation

B&C is blacker as you can probably see even though I modified the photo and you can draw a really thin line. Heavy Rotation is thicker but more comfortable for tighlining for example, because it`s also softer. The pencils are also packed with moisturizing / care ingredients like wax or hialuron. I could buy an eyeliner from Dior or Chanel, but tbh I prefer the japanese ones, they are always super reliable and really affordable too. And I`m too old to care for trying out local drug store brands eyeliners, they always crease and give me panda eyes. :P
So yeah, if you`re looking for a good black pencil eyeliners, I recommend the above! If you want deeper black and thinner - B&C, if you want a typical pencil size and soft one - Heavyrotation! ^^

Product warning: farba do włosów L'OREAL Preference Ombre

Hiya! Just a quick warning post tbh. I usually write positive reviews about things I like, but this stuff was just so bad I thought I have to warn You about it. :O

So a while ago I was trying to lighten my hair - I cut it and tried permanent blonde hair colors just to lighten my dark blonde hair, but if course it didn`t work at all (because of my original color and lack of bleaching). My hair was already thin and damaged, it couldn have been a big factor too. But I found this at Rossman:

L'OREAL Preference Ombre (I used the middle one):

It`s a permanent hair color product supposed to give you an ombre (gradual change of tone/color) effect. WELL. Don`t do it. I applied it just like the instructions said and there was no ombre effect - my hair where the product was just got bleached to an awful organge-yellow color. And there was no gradation, it was just like a part of my natural hair STRAIGHT (some places irregular) LINE and bleached super ugly color. :O When I saw it I LAUGHED, lol. It was terrible. ;)

I don`t know how skilled you have to be to apply it and get the effect on the box... But my advice is - if you are not a pro - just spare yourself the embarassment and don`t do it. Later of course I had to get an asap hair dresser appointment to try to even out my hair color and I did get lighter blond and cut my hair even more, but the change in color is still visible - it`s not as sad though, can pass as "ok looking" if you don`t know how it came to be. XDD

So, a big NAY. Dangerous stuff people.
No photos because of the shame. XD

Lepiej iść do fryzjera i mieć spokój.
That is all! \(^____^ *)/

What do I want to wear in spring 2013...?「(°ヘ°)

あぁ~困っています~ヾ(´・ ・`。)ノ”
It started snowing here again and there is a lot of wet snow everywhere, as the temperature is around zero, but.... I can`t stop thinking about spring already! I am not the type to complain about weather, but I love spring and summer and warm/hot weather and can`t wait for it to come! And change of season calls for change of fashion, right? But! I have no idea what to wear in spring... So I`m looking for inspiration. Recently my fashion was super lazy and lacking, I know I was slacking and wearing the most comfortable things without really thinking about how it looks... XD Compared to how I used to chose looks over everything else (comfort, season, rational thinking, lol) I got into the if it`s not super comfy I`m not wearing it phase that led to just wear whatever as long as it`s soft and loose phase, which you know is bad... I just changed with age and prefer more compromise clothing (cute AND comfy), but I`d hate to just become a plain, boring dressed lazy looking woman. :P Also cold winter and lots of snow are not friends with fashion. :/
But!!!!
Spring to the rescue! ヽ(๏∀๏ )ノ
I`m getting inspired to get back in the game! 8D

I already have a couple trends I like for spring outfits:
- incorporating white / light beige / airy / tulle shirts and dresses
- using monotone maxi skirts and dresses in my coordinates!
- mixing in sports wear style items, like sweats, sneakers, beaniest-shirts
- using neon as point color!

Now looking for more inspiration! Super cute casual style outfits (from runway-ch street snap):

edit: my feb 10th OOTD! :D

And inspiration pics, found online!
( 1 ) lace and light airy, flowing style

( 2 ) maxi

( 3 ) sports

( 4 ) neon

That`s my inspiration board for spring 2013!! :D
I hope to show you some coordinates and OOTDs later this year. :D
What are you planning to wear this spring? Please tell me~ ヾ(☆▽☆)

My healthy lifestyle change~ `what I eat 編`

Time for the second post about my lifestyle change.
Maybe it sounds a bit pompous or funny, but IDK how to call it, that`s just what it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don`t want to preach, most of those things are not my original ideas, I learned them along the way and read on the internet and so on. And I am not claiming I am 100% right. I`m just writing out my idea of healthy eating and generally what I put into my head and live by now. So take it or leave it, those are just my beliefs and I`m no expert and so on.

I assume it`s obvious that when you eat healthy you would want to quit junk food, sweets, soda and processed food and simple carbs as much as you can. Well, that wasn`t a big issue for me, bc for a good couple years now I wasn`t drinking any soda or eating junk food (from chain restaurants) at all and I don`t even like sweets that much (well, with some exceptions) so I don`t get sweets craving. I never used sugar in tea/coffee and I don`t like the flavor. I admit, I also love to cook, live on my own and have a lot of free time, so limiting processed food and generally eating what I want is relatively easy for me. I`m very lucky with this, I know many of you probably live with your family, don`t have a separate fridge or maybe can`t even buy your own food bc you don`t have the money or just parents take care of that. In that case, I hope your family will support your decision to eat more healthy and help you with it. Calm rational discussion should work and just give them some time to think about it. From my experience parents get really stubborn if you try to push your ideas on them, make them think it`s their own idea and that it`s great if you can... XD

And you know what, we`re just human. If you want to eat chocolate or pizza or whatever - just eat it! Treat yourself! Don`t go on guilt trips and restrict. Just think on a bigger scale - remember your goal, to eat healthy and be good to yourself and know that one bad day won`t ruin the whole effort and your hard work. It won`t! So if your your boss has a bad tantrum/bf dumped you, drink that bottle of wine and eat cookies with your friends! XD Sometimes it`s okay, just don`t fall into bad habits again. Moderation is the key. If you want chocolate eat it, but eat 2 small pieces, not the whole block. And make the better choice, go for 90% cocoa bitter chocolate with ingredients you can pronounce rather than something that`s mostly sugar and you don`t even know what it is.

Oh, and start reading labels!!!! Some of them are like good horror stories, let me tell you. XD Generally if there are things that don`t even sound like food and too many unknown ingredients, I don`t buy it. Like I said - I limit processed food to minimum and always read the ingredients. I try to eat organic and cruelty free. I was a pescetarian, but I quit fish in December and am limiting milk consumption. (But I will always love eggs - I`m not lying to myself about that - but I buy the expensive eggs at the farmers` market, from "happy" hens, that eat good food and run around outside whenever they want, from small farmers. I just think that those mass produced, caged chickens are just so poor and just mentally ill from all the torture. :/ ) I am vegetarian and often eat vegan for periods of time, but yeah I`m not vegan and I`m not really into labels that much, so eat what you feel like eating generally. But for me going vegetarian (pescetarian), over 10 years ago, was the obvious choice. :D But to each his own.

Anyway, I`ll go through my meals and just tell you what they consist of most of the time.

THE FACE SHOP Chia Seeds Skin Care

Hi! It`s TIME FOR SKINCARE PRODUCTS` REVIEW!

Here`s something I got in Korea last summer and I`ve been using it since and now I`m ready for a review.
(●´∀`●) When I was in Korea I already knew I will be sight-seeing at the cosmetics/makeup stores a lot. XD And I did, I bought quite a lot, but this is the best purchase I made in my opinion. *(*´∀`*)☆

THE FACE SHOP Chia Seed skincare series!

I don`t know why I even bought this, as I was happy with my hialuronic acid and natural oils mix routine... wait, I know why! (*´・v・) They got my attention with the "chia seed" use and also with their "natural cosmetics" brand politics! Their brand`s tagline is "natural story" and their cosmetics don`t have the 7 not so cool additives: no parabens, no benzophenone, no mineral oil, no artificial color, no animal ingredients, no alcohol and no triethanolamine! Sounds great, doesn`t it!

Breand`s musings:
A refreshing water drop that busts the moment it touches the skin fully hydrates the skin and moisturizes the inside of the skin for an extended period. Immediate hydration and a comfortable protective film Chia seed, which carries moisture 10 times its own weight, and chamomile provide immediate hydration and soothe dry and reddened skin quickly. Contains 100% chia seeds water instead of water Chia seeds water is extracted within 24 hours via the Fresh method, instead of water delivers the vitality of the highly pure chia seeds.
ヽ(;^o^ヽ) OK bro.

I love the healthy chia seeds and I already eat them with cereal and put them in water, so why not also use them on my face? XD I was sold!

I got the spray toner, lotion, serum and cream. The actually have 2 types of toner - regular pump bottle packaging and spray type bottle! I got the later, I though I could use it as face mist - but I actually don`t, really. (゜▽゜;) I use it as reagular toner, to prep my face for more skin care products in the morning.
The series feels really moisturising, watery, not oily. The cream is light and watery. The cosmetics do leave a veil on my skin - but it`s a good feeling! It does feel a bit sticky but I don`t mind it personally and it has a strong fragrance, but luckily it disappears soon after application. The moisturising is good, but it`s not enough under my eyes, I guess I`m getting older and I need something thicker for my eyes. The serum has tiny capsules with chia seeds essence and you should gently pat it into your skin~ The lotion is my favorite from the whole series. If you don`t apply makeup over the cream you will really get the "dewy" skin look the Korean and Japanese cosmetics promise. The series gave me no breakouts and I really like it overall!!

I am super happy with it and if you want to try it, but aren`t going to Korea anytime soon, you can get all the products from this series on eBay in reasonable prices! I am too much in love with my natural oils/hialuronic acid skincare routine so I won`t repurchase, but I will test another THE FACE SHOP cream, with mango seed butter. It seems to be more oily and thick and I imagine it smells amazing~~~

My healthy lifestyle change~ `attitude and sports編`

Hello everyone!

I decided to write a post on a topic different than cosmetics -> health, food, sports and general good things you can do for yourself! :D Actually almost one year ago I got quite fed up with the state I was in. I lost weight from medicine I was prescribed, but then fell right back into bad habits and felt bad and gained weight and generally I wasn`t taking good care of myself, felt quite miserable. :/ (BTW, I am definitely not a person that can do anything they wish easily, actually my own character undermines my plans and even work sometimes. I have also been through two really bad depressions, one putting me in a hospital for 3 months.) At that point last year I was already supposedly "healthy", but I didn`t feel healthy at all. And I realized it`s time to do something good for myself, because I deserve it.

OPI The World is not enough!!

I just wanted to post OPI The world is not enough on my nails, I love it!!
This is 3 layers! It looks absolutely beautiful on nails on its own! (^^*)

One of the girls (I teach, 5 years old) grabbed my hand to today, stared at my manicure and said "Oh no, you can`t come each time with prettier nail polish on your fingers!! *frown*"... XDDDD How cute. I guess it was a compliment. XD

It is quite similar to MAC Soiree. :3

Great purchase, I`m happy so with it!

Also, have some music I can`t get enough of recently:

Mmmmmm, Macklemore ILU.

Addicted thanks to my younger sister ;D

OPI Skyfall nail polish: The World is not Enough, Casino Royale and Skyfall! :D

Happy New Year!! (*⌒▽⌒*)
It`s already 2013, time goes by soooo fast! I feel like I`ll be 60 before I know it! Σ(゜д゜;) Got to enjoy everything while it lasts. I hope you will have a wonderful year of the Snake. ( ^_^)o自自o(^_^ )*cheers to that*

Before xmas I ordered 3 OPI nail polishes, from the Skyfall collection. TBH I never was a big Bond fan, but it was a long time since I bought nail polish (except the Essie base/top coat from the previous post, but it was planned at the same time). I ordered The World is not Enough (glittery golden-brown with multicolor super tiny glitter) and Skyfall (almost brown, very deep dark red - I read someone describe it as "bull`s blood", which is disgusting but maybe accurate) for myself and Casino Royale (dark deep plum/violet-red) as a gift for my older sister, because she likes dark reds and violets on her nails. (‐^▽^‐)

Here`s how they look:

from left: Casino Royale, The World is not Enough, Skyfall

with flash (Casino Royale looks way different on nails though!)

not so good swatches on paper... `OTL

And Skyfall on my nails! :D I love it! It is such a "grown-up" color and perfect for fall & winter. ヽ(´▽`)/ (Please excuse my dry cuticles OTL, I should take care of them soon). Recently I`m hating on glittery nail polish because it`s a paaaaain to remove and eugh, I`m fed up with them, so getting those new colors is very exciting to me! :DD I am completely satisfied with my order. If you are wondering, I ordered this from eBay seller THECOLORELF. I can recommed her and I`m sure you`ll be happy buying from her! OPI nail polish in Poland is at least 3 times the original price so it`s nonsense to buy it here.

BTW, I also cut my hair yesterday! ヽ(´▽`)/  I was thinking about it for some time and I had a day off and little sleep and went a bit hyper and thought "if not now, then WHEN??" and just walked into the nearest hair salon and did it!! (well, with young and nice looking hair stylist girls, I would never let an awful looking hairstylist cut my hair - you know the type, dry bleached hair, awful dark accents, eww). XD So now I look like this!

New Year, new hairstyle! Why not?
I used to have hair this long about 2 years ago and I`ve missed it. And my hair was dry and damaged anyway so it was better to chop them. ☆⌒(*^∇゜)v ヴイッ Maybe I`ll do something with the color too.

Anyway! This is all for today, have a wonderful new year and till next post!

Essie nail polish: 3-way glaze & good to go!

Recently my nail are in a terrible state, but I decided to take a little bit more care of them. :3
Honestly, I don`t have time and dedication to polish them and repaint all the time, I am also guilty of walking around with nail polish half chipped - oops. More than one time... XD I`m just human! (lol ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

But yeah, recently I decided to pay more attention to nails and got two new clear nail polishes, 3-in-1 base and top coat and a fast drying top coat.

ESSIE 3-way glaze and good to go!
They are both very good!! I recommend them if you are looking for a base or a top coat. :3

And my current manicure~ It`s MAC Soiree from their old winter collection. :D

How do you take care of your nails in winter? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Circle lens: GEO Berry Holic (XTRA) Brown review on green eyes

Hello hello~
Ahh, it`s so hard to find circle lens reviews on light colored (gray, green, blue) eyes! Before buying I want to know how opaque they are, if they blend well or just leave a huge hole in the middle. But often I have to refer to reviews on dark brown eyes, because there is nothing else. But fear not my light colored eye-friends! I review every pair of lenses I buy & recently, after a very long time I got new circle lenses!
I hope it`s helpful for blue/green/gray eyed circle lens fans. :D

GEO Berry Holic (XTRA) Brown

I got them from Eye Candy`s, for almost 24$ including shipping with took about 2 weeks.
Brand: GEO / Origin: South Korea
Water content: 38%  / Diameter: 15.0 mm
Base Curve: 8.6  / Duration: 1 year disposable

I have only had them a couple days but I`ve been wearing them almost every day. They are comfortable and I don`t feel them in my eyes at all, but after a couple hours they do feel a little bit dry. (Best to use eye drops with those lenses). Design wise - I want definitely expecting something more opaque!! They are quite see through. But they also blend very well with my eye color, it`s almost impossible to tell where my iris ends and the lens color begin (that`s GOOD). They are bigger than my eye and give a bit of a halo effect. The ring around the lens is brown-black and not thick, reminds me of houndstooth - not my favorite part of the design, but I can live with it. ;) Overall, they remind me of GEO Nudy Grey circle lens style, so if you don`t like those and think they give "lizzard eye" effect, you probably won`t like GEO Berry Holic XTRA Brown either. (I love the nudy series effect!)

How they look on their own. Brown.

On my gray-green eye without flash.
They don`t look brown unfortunately, maybe hazely-golden-greenish if you look really hard. XD

With flash. They blend perfectly with green eyes! But they don`t look brown. Poop.

My whole face (excuse the wet hair) in daylight (it`s winter so it`s not very bright).
You can click on the photo to see bigger size.

How they fit into my whole face, with flash.

Overall, I must say I quite like them. They don`t give me the brown eyes I was hoping for. They have a more golden green look which is hard to describe for me. The enlargement is visible, but natural. The only unnatural thing is the halo effect with the houndstooth outer ring, but it`s not very thick or black, so still it can pass as semi-natural. They are comfortable and come with prescription (so I don`t have to wear my -1,5 glasses yay). I would say they are good for daytime circle lenses and also "dolly" look.

I hope you have enjoyed my review. ^^v

Healthy, healthy, healthy!!!

Hello my blog! XD

As you can see, I am on some kind of a unplanned hiatus, but I won`t give up my blog.
Since I don`t really do anything fancy with my makeup, just the regular stuff, I will write about how I`ve turned into health "enthusiast", lol. I`ve been eating healthy and exercising since February and it only brought positive results! I feel healthier, more fit, happier. :D But I really got into sport and nutrition and try to collect as much information and try as many things as I can!

I bought myself spirulina as a supplement to fight winter blues. Because the days are getting shorter and darker, everything goes gray and it really affects my mood. I feel so unmotivated and uninspired. (T___T`) But, I`m doing my best to fight it!

What is spirulina? Here is some info from: http://www.antioxidants-for-health-and-longevity.com/spirulina-facts.html

Spirulina is a single-celled, microscopic blue-green algae that is part of the cyanobacteria family. It grows in alkaline waters of South America, Africa and Mexico. Spirulina is grown for the marketplace by commercial processors who grow these it in vast water farms.
Spirulina is thought to contain every nutrient required by the human body, in near-perfect ratios. It is especially rich in vitamin E, vitamin C, beta carotene and B complex, including B-12*** (not found in plant foods), and chlorophyll. It is also rich in essential fatty acids, carotenoids and minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium and zinc. It is recognized to be the most complete food source known; no other food contains as many nutrients as spirulina. It has more beta carotene than any other food, ounce-for-ounce.
*** well I was told spirulina doesn`t contain any active in humans B12, so don`t buy it for that - if you are vegan get B12 supplements from the pharmacy, if you`re not, don`t worry :)

So, basically, it is healthy stuff and you can eat spirulina but also use it in skin care!
I am taking the tablets for a couple days now and I really do feel more energized after them! And today I made a face mask! Just mixed the powder with some water:

It is super dark green and.... smells like a pond. XD
As the mask dries it tightens on your skin. I washed it off with luke warm water and did a very light peeling with brown sugar and honey. Later I put on my The Face Shop Chia seeds lotion mixed with avocado oil (I use that every day). My face feels super soft, but it is a little bit red and feels a little bit irritated. I`ll have to see how it feels in a while, I hope that overall it will help. ^^` (PS. I had the mask 2 times now, I washed it off earlier and my skin wasn`t irritated. :))

You can also mix the powdered spirulina in smoothies and whatnot and eat it, but it`s easier to eat in tablets form, as it smells like a pond.

The other thing I got interested in is aojiru, a japanese powdered drink made from kale or young barley. I looked into buying aojiru online, but it is expensive. And I`m not getting a super expensive juicer, because well, I don`t need it and I partially think it`s a fad - you can make green juices/smoothies with other machines too. Anyway, I found powdered young barley here in Poland, online, it is very affordable and practically the same thing as japanese aojiru! (on the right, made in Germany btw)

I was surprised to find it smeels a little bit like powdered green tea aka matcha. :O I will try to make some green desserts with it! :D The only negative thing is it doesn`t dissolve in water and you get this "sandy" feeling on your teeth. XD But I mixed it with orange juice in the morning and it`s completely drinkable :D

Generally I am eating super healthy and buying "real food" aka I don`t buy pre-made food, I cook myself (I always did, but I didn`t choose wisely, just ate anything). Take a look at my food now!

cherries, banana, kefir and young barley smoothie for breakfast, very tasty :D
shopping: kale, tofu, okra

and my recent meal: quinoa (under the veggies), sauteed onion, mushrooms and kale with fresh tofu and a dressing of soy sauce mixed with lemon juice (ponzu style) and the other side with sriracha :D

So are you taking care of your body? Have you tried spirulina? Do you think I already reached health-freak status? (LOL, I don`t think so, because I am a rational person and I think I do things in moderation www)

Oh,  Ialso do my best to move as much as I can: http://www.endomondo.com/profile/5898366 Want to be friends on endomondo and inspire each other? I love that app!

Daiso Gradation nail sets!

Hello again!
My holidays in Korea are coming to an end, I`m leaving for Poland on tuesday! I have fun, but I don`t regret leaving, I`ll be in my sweet home again.... XD And post more about all the stuff I bought here, which is PLENTY. :O
Anyways, today I went to Daiso, aka 100yen/1000won store. I think they have it in USA too, but as far as I know there are none in Europe. I really hate everything made bad and low quality and never go for quantity over quality, I`m all about quality and good taste/style, but Daiso is not like those quite disgusting (in my opinion) "everything 1$" shops. Daiso stuff is actually well made and often cute and it`s sooooo useful if you move in in another country and need to buy a lot of basic things and don`t want to spend a fortune! (That`s why all foreigners and scholarship students in Asia love Daiso ;))

I was buying some random stuff and found cute sets of 3 nail polishes to make diy gradation manicure! Of course I had to get it! :D I was available in orage, pink, black and purple, I got all except purple. One set for 3000won, which is around 3$! I came back to my hotel room and tried it out and it`s really nice - good quality nail polish and easy to use. We`ll see how long it lasts without chipping.
Here`s my manicure today:

Cute! And so simple to make with those 3 matching nail polishes. :D
Here are the other sets:

So cheap and so much fun! ;D I spent some money on shopping here, but I must admit I think I spent most on... American Apparel clothes... XDD I know, going to Korea to shop at AmeApa?? Well, This summer I developed a mini obsession about their clothes, mostly basics and then some more fashion-y ones, they are so comfortable and good! But we don`t have an AmeApa store in Poland, so I was buying from the EU online store, but you know, it`s not the same when you can`t try things on. So when I found out they have AmeApa here I went many times and tried everything on to get an idea of which sizes fit me the best! :D And I bought a lot, and AA is way more expensive here than in USA. But! I am very happy with my "gets". Yesterday I bought those cute high waisted shorts with zippers on sides and wore them to clubbing the same night, we went to MASS in Gangnam (lol, it`s our fave club in Seoul... ^^`)

Can I take a photo witout making a stupid face? I don`t think so!
I also decided to have fun with makeup and wore top and bottom fake lashes! Diamond Lash Celeb on top and Baby on bottom (uncut). I think those are my favorite Diamond Lash models. ^^*

I`ll leave you with 2 random photos, a view from Seould Tower and some sheet masks from The Face Shop. ^^*
Byebye!
