Circle lens: GEO Berry Holic (XTRA) Brown review on green eyes

Hello hello~
Ahh, it`s so hard to find circle lens reviews on light colored (gray, green, blue) eyes! Before buying I want to know how opaque they are, if they blend well or just leave a huge hole in the middle. But often I have to refer to reviews on dark brown eyes, because there is nothing else. But fear not my light colored eye-friends! I review every pair of lenses I buy & recently, after a very long time I got new circle lenses!
I hope it`s helpful for blue/green/gray eyed circle lens fans. :D

GEO Berry Holic (XTRA) Brown

I got them from Eye Candy`s, for almost 24$ including shipping with took about 2 weeks. 

Brand: GEO / Origin: South Korea 

Water content: 38%  / Diameter: 15.0 mm 

Base Curve: 8.6  / Duration: 1 year disposable

I have only had them a couple days but I`ve been wearing them almost every day. They are comfortable and I don`t feel them in my eyes at all, but after a couple hours they do feel a little bit dry. (Best to use eye drops with those lenses). Design wise - I want definitely expecting something more opaque!! They are quite see through. But they also blend very well with my eye color, it`s almost impossible to tell where my iris ends and the lens color begin (that`s GOOD). They are bigger than my eye and give a bit of a halo effect. The ring around the lens is brown-black and not thick, reminds me of houndstooth - not my favorite part of the design, but I can live with it. ;) Overall, they remind me of GEO Nudy Grey circle lens style, so if you don`t like those and think they give "lizzard eye" effect, you probably won`t like GEO Berry Holic XTRA Brown either. (I love the nudy series effect!)

They don`t look brown unfortunately, maybe hazely-golden-greenish if you look really hard. XD

With flash. They blend perfectly with green eyes! But they don`t look brown. Poop.

Overall, I must say I quite like them. They don`t give me the brown eyes I was hoping for. They have a more golden green look which is hard to describe for me. The enlargement is visible, but natural. The only unnatural thing is the halo effect with the houndstooth outer ring, but it`s not very thick or black, so still it can pass as semi-natural. They are comfortable and come with prescription (so I don`t have to wear my -1,5 glasses yay). I would say they are good for daytime circle lenses and also "dolly" look.

fake lashes review: Diamond Lash Beauty Eye (*ﾟ∇^*)ｖ

First of all, I want to praise the eBay store I got the lashes from: Meilleurbeauty! Not only do they have reasonable prices, the lashes arrived very fast in good, safe packaging! I will definitely go back to their store for more. ＼(#⌒_⌒#)／ On to the review! 

I just got them from the post man and glued them to my face right away (*ﾟ∇^*)ｖ I was just so happy to see them - they are exactly what I hoped they would be! ＼(#⌒_⌒#)／ They really remind me of Diamond Lash Girly Eye, but with the separated hair. Beauty Eye feel much lighter and more natural, but they are still really long and have quite a lot of volume. (I never wore Girly eye to be honest, totally not my type of lashes... Maybe better for pin-up style? If you want them, let me know. (*'▽＾)ъ)

Separate strands of lashes = more "airy", lighter look.

One lash on, you can see they are loooong and OMG GREAT! XD But thanks to the separate lashes they don`t look too heavy and "drag queen". (Even though I love drag queens!! (*ﾟ∇^*)ｖBut I don`t necessarily want to do that look daily XD)

I glued them on as they are, no cutting. They fit my eye great, I glued them close to my inner eye corner on purpose, the outer lashes are very long and I knew they would reach far beyond my outer eye corner anyway. I still got a great eye lengthening and droopy-eye effect. ぴーす♪ (#^ー°)v

They are quite long, but not overly dramatic, if you wear them with light makeup they will be okay for daily wear IMO, if you are into this kind of look. ぴーす♪ (#^ー°)v  Maybe not good for serious business women, but otherwise I think they are even OK for work, especially if you cut off the last, longest strand of lashes! :D With heavier makeup they would also look amazing for party looks and so on... ぴーす♪ (#^ー°)v

MAC Dare You lipstick review & swatches

Hello again! I`m on a roll~ :D

Recently I really really love this one lipstick: DARE YOU from MAC! I got it because I had 6 empty containers from mac and decided I`ll get myself a dark lipstick. Didn`t decide on the color before, just went into the store and kept looking and comparing colors for 10 minutes and decided, THIS IS IT. And I was right, I LOOOOVE this lipstick!!

OK, lets just go straight to swatches and all.

Bare lips and lip balm.

Half applied - I didn`t use a lip liner, because I don`t even own one for this color. I read that MAC Brick would work good with this color? Any other recommendations?

Applied. It`s a bit messy, but I like to apply it a bit over my lip line and then just smudge it a bit with a finger or a q-tip. It`s that shiny because of the lip balm, but it has its own shine too~ I love the finish. It feels super comfortable and noisturising on lips.

I really recommend You go and try out a dark lipstick right now: dark red, dark violet/purple, brown-red colors, it looks soooo hot! Here I leave you with some dark lipstick inspiration! Ta-da!

日焼け止め ~②~ Sunscreen and UVA/UVB protection ~②~

Are you using sunscreen this summer...? *frown* I hope you are! ;D I got myself 3 products this year. I already introduced 2 in another post, HERE. 

Here are the 3 sun protectors that I currently have & use:

1. 美白 UV プロテクター / Shiseido Anessa Whitening UV Protector (60ml)  from Strawberrynet.com, SPF32・PA+++

2. パーフェクトパーリーサンスクリーンAA / Shiseido Anessa Perfect Pearly Sunscreen AA (25ml) from Ichibankao.com, SPF50+・PA+++

3. La Roche-Posay, Anthelios XL 50+ Melt-in cream, from a local pharmacy ^^ (official site: http://www.anthelios.com/)

First, the two Anessa sunscreens. First of all, I was surprised how TINY they are! The 25ml Pearly Sunscreen seriously looks like a sample... XD The 60ml Whitening Protector is a bit better, but anyway, they are both compact, small and hand bag friendly! Also the packaging is really cute~

REVIEW: パーフェクトパーリーサンスクリーンAA / Shiseido Anessa Perfect Pearly Sunscreen AA (25ml)

This sunscreen needs a good shake before you open the bottle, because it is a double consistency sunscreen (with some oils that need mixing) and it does have little pearly particles in it when you look at the 3rd photo, but applied on face (or hand, like below) they don`t really show and the effect is very very subtle and definitely no glitter-bomb on you face visible. Very natural and nice finish. It dried fast it very light (like milk, not cream), but I thought it feels a little bit oily? And I think I broke out a little bit after using it, so unfortunately this one wasn`t the best match for my skin. (;_;) Other than that, I think it`s really nice, although a bit expensive. RATING: 6 / 10 (I am disappointed that it doesn`t go well with my skin :<)

 

REVIEW: 美白 UV プロテクター / Shiseido Anessa Whitening UV Protector (60ml) 

This one is my favorite of the 3 sunscreens! I love it! It is light, like milk, not a cream, very easy to apply, feels moisturizing and is a great base for makeup. This one doesn`t need shaking, so don`t shake it, otherwise it will explode and you`ll get too much product! XD It has a very weak pleasant smell, sets into skin very fast and is a pleasure to apply. I had no skin problems after using it, I did not get a tan nor sunburn, the packaging is perfect size to put in a bag and I think it`s the best daily sunscreen I have tried so far. I did not notice any whitening after using it, but I didn`t really buy it for whitening purposes. 

The minus? It is quite expensive for such a small bottle.... But then again, it is very easy to apply and a little bit is enough for my whole face and neck, so it will last a long time! I think if you have the money, this is a very good investment! RATING: 9 / 10 (-1 for the price)

REVIEW:  La Roche-Posay, Anthelios XL 50+ Melt-in cream

This one was the cheapest of the 3, I got it from a local pharmacy/drug store, as La Roche Posay Anthelios is only sold in pharmacies where I live. It came in a gift set - with after sun protection cream (Posthelios, it`s OK but I wouldn`t buy it for full price) and a cosmetic pouch. This one is definitely not a fluid/milk, but a really thick cream consistency. It says it`s a "melt-in cream" and it kinda does absorb well, but you can definitely say it`s a rich creamy CREAM. XD You can use it as a daily sunscreen I guess, but I think it`s too rich and thick for everyday for my taste. And I think definitely too heavy for mixed/oily skin. Maybe normal/dry skin (and sun allergy delicate skin) will like it better. Actually I quite like it, but I kind of think it`s a more beach/forest/swimming/outdoor activities sunscreen, not city/daily/under makeup sunscreen, BUT you can use it like that as well, if you don`t have oily skin. So allergic reaction or break outs, it takes a while to absorb into skin, but then it`s okay and my makeup stays on fine. I must say I quite like it, but I should have gotten an Anthelios sunscreen in milk consistency, not cream, because it`s easier to use daily! So I think I just should have bought another products from the Anthelios series, but Anthelios XL 50+ Melt-in cream is a very good sunscreen, tho rich and creamy, while I wanted more of a lotion-type sunscreen. My bad! :) The price is OK, and I like the product, but I like Anessa nr 2 better! :D I will definitely use this when I go bike riding/hiking, etc though, more economic! XD RATING: 8 / 10.

Shop review:  Very big lens selection and good service. I really recommend that store. ^^* 

One lens in, one lens out. You can see the nelargement is big! The color is gray, but it is blue-ish. It blends nice with my natural eye color, but the color change is least noticable out of all 3 pairs of Bambi lens. I think they really stand out and look amazing on dark eyes though! On light eyes, they are not so dramatic. 

Both lenses in my eyes, in daylight. You can see some halo effect, blends good, looks OK.

Both lenses in, photo with flash. They only look as vibrant as in the ads when you photograph them with flash.

REVIEW! 

Overall: 8 / 10 I really do like those lenses! But I gave them less points than Apple Green and Chocolate Brown, because they don`t stand out as much as the others do. I think they would look fantastic on really dark eyes though! On my light green/gray eyes, they look not super dramatic and not natural neither. 

Enlargement:  10/10 ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ あははぁ Well, same as the other 2 pairs! XD

Comfort: 7 / 10 I think this pair is the least comfortable of all. I even wonder if maybe I got a faulty lens? I am considering repurchasing this model later, because I dunno, they are comfortable, but one eye gets blurry all the time. (O_o) I have absolutely no problems with Green and Brown Bambi lenses, so I am thinking I just have one bad lens here by accident. Your pair should be fine and I really recommend those lenses!!! ^^*

Shop review: LikeI said before, the service is overall good and I am content with this store. ^^*

One lens in, one out. The enlargement is biiiiiiiig! The black ring makes your eyes pop and the green color is really lovely and well visible. I have gray-green eyes originally, but the definitely look more green with those lenses in!! I like how they blend with natural eye color a lot!

Indoor, no flash, but in a bright place. They look great! 

Again, to take a flash photo, I went to a place that was a little darker (but not dark, I took this photo around noon in summer, so you can imagine, no dark places) and my pupils are bigger and you can practically only see the lens design, not my eye color again. I think the blending is amazing in this series and Green and Gray ones would look so dramatic and amazing, yet blend really great on dark eyes!!! I like how they turn up the green in my eyes and make the size bigger! Also very comfortable!

REVIEW! 

Overall: 9.5 / 10 I really really like those lenses!! Maybe they are not as vibrant as the advertisement photo in real like, but in flash photos they really do stand out! 

Enlargement:  10/10 ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ あははぁ Again, biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig Bambi eyes! XD

Comfort: 9.5 / 10 Very comfortable. Felt even more comfortable that the Brown Princess Mimi.

Shop review: The service was correct, you register and have a personal online account where you can see your order status and updates. In the end, they arrived more less 2 weeks after I place my order and paid for them. Definitely will be buying again from Pinky Paradise, well organized shop with tons of lenses and lashes and other goodies to choose from. (The new GEO coffee series, helloooo....drool)

As you can see, they give quite a lot of enlargement! The black limbal ring makes your eyes stand out more, the color blends really super nice with my natural green iris (I imagine it would look even more fabulous on brown eyes!). Also, the pattern goes all the way in, so in a place that`s not as sunny as my desk, by the window, where I took this photo, the green of my eye would be invisible, just the lenses and my pupil would be seen, thus giving me 100% brown eyes. :3 

In very bright light, the colors are totally washed out, but you can see even in bright light they still look and blend very nice!

See, this is a photo with flash, but I was standing in a bit darker place, and you practically cannot see my green iris, right? I really really like the way those lenses blend with the natural eye behind them!

REVIEW! 
Overall: 9.5 / 10
Well, I really really like those!!! They are definitely NOT VERY NATURAL (lol), but they sre SUPER DOLLY. I had fake lashes on and put those lenses in and looked in the mirror and said (out loud) "I look so gyaru, lol!". さすが As you could expect from circle lens produced by Tsubasa Matsuwaka! ^^* Not for everyday I think, but sooooo much fun to wear anyway! <3 And people give me compliments (like random people). (Weird). And also, I think they look silly with no makeup, so at least eye liner + tons of mascara are necessary with those lenses, ok bb?
And they game me completely brown eyes with no green peeking from underneath (at least in a not super-bright place). For which I would like to thank them and give them a hug. The grass is always greener... ;)
Enlargement:  10/10
They make my eyes look huge, all the way to the border of freaky-deaky looking bug like huge, but not going over that border. ヾ(@°▽°@)ノ あははぁ Very big enlarging effect! They will make your face look smaller and cuter, trust gurl, like Bambi.
Comfort: 8.5 / 10
Yup, pretty comfortable! My eyes are still a bit dry after being in this anti-acne treatment, so they will naturally dry out fast, I don`t think it has anything to do with the lenses. They are very comfortable, don`t move around and I use eye drops a couple times a day, and I can wear them like 8-10 hours no problems. (Although I think your eyes might get a bit tired if you plan to wear them all day, every day, maybe).

Circle lens review: Dueba MX21 Violet

Today I will post photos and review of circle lens, that my younger sister bought!
You see, I have 2 sisters, one is 13 years older, one is 2 years younger. My older sister is a married grown woman with children and she doesn`t care about things like circle lens or fake lashes (unless there is a party and she wants to make old friend jealous, then I glue stuff on her eyelids and we are both happy). So this review, and all guest reviews, are starring my younger sister, Gosia (a round of applause please, thank you).ヾ(@゜∇゜@)ノ　あははのは～

She bought Dueba MX21 Violet circle lenses from PinkyParadise. Though it looks like they don`t carry this specific model anymore? (I think they are here.) Please take a look below for photos and review. I will write as best as I can what my sister said about the lenses and add some of my opinions too. As you know, I am not a pink/violet lens affecionado, but Gosia is (she has like, idk, 4 pink/violet circle lens sets?). Anyway. Here comes the review:

Dueba MX21 Violet

Dueba MX21 Violet stock photo. Looks just weird and not tempting at all! D: WTH.

REAL PHOTOS:

First of all, my sister`s bare eye. Kind of a green-gray colored iris.

 This is the lens! Dueba MX21 Violet in reality. What struck me was that it doesn`t look all that violet! Looks like blue with a violet tint. A lovely color, to be honest. Personally, I love the design. And the color! :O And I don`t even like violet/pink lenses. XD

Wearing Dueba MX21 Violet, no makeup, natural daylight.

Again, I really like this design and how it blends nicely with her natural eye color!!! The black rim (limbal ring) is not too dramatic, the color change is visible, but there is no sharp border between the lens color and the natural iris color inside. Super lovely IMO.

One eye bare, one eye in + flash. As you can see, there is not much enlargement at all. 

The black rim is also delicate, it makes the eyes pop a bit more, but it`s not dramatically different.

And without flash. 

(The points below are by my sister and me, of course I cannot comment on the comfort, so that comment is hers).
DESIGN: 10 / 10 My sister likes the design a lot. I love the design a lot! It is called Violet, but it`s more like blue-violet, looks natural, yet really makes eyes stand out, pop, makes them more defined! I also like how the inner design dissappears and blends so well with your natural eye color.
ENLARGEMENT: 3/10 Those lenses will not give you much enlargement. They are listed as 14mm and there is a good 0,8mm between the lens border and where the design starts, so nope, not much enlargement at all.
COMFORT: 2/10 According to my sister, those are not good at all. First she was wearing them a couple hours a day and it was OK, but a bit uncomfortable, she could feel them in her eyes all the time. But then, she was not able to even put them in her eyes at all! She says they sting, they make her eyes tear up and even putting the lenses in (especially the right eye one) for taking those photos was very uncomfortable for her and she was wiping tears all the time. :/ So that is a great disappointment!! Maybe she just got a faulty pair (or one lens), or maybe they just don`t work with her eyes, but anyway, she is not really able to wear those lenses at all now. TOO BAD!!! :/
If you have good or bad experience with this lens model, please comment and let me know, if she just got a faulty pair or are most of them like this! Thank you. 

SHOP SERVICE: Pinky Paradise`s service was good, as usual. But my sister had to wait almost a month for those lenses to arrive and she was very unhappy with that. But we live in Poland, so that`s far away from PP`s location and I think it was just the post office`s fault. Pinky Paradise`s service was otherwise very good and professional. ^^*

So, I hope you liked this review. Too bad they are so uncomfortable for my sister and she cannot wear them, as I think the design of those lenses is really beautiful and OK for no makeup as well as heavy makeup (I found this photo on the left on tumblr, looks awesome, right? I`m not 100% sure those are the same lenses though!). Maybe she has a bad pair. Maybe it`s something with her eyes? I dunno, please leave feedback if tried those lenses.
